The vision was to develop a fully automated AI platform capable of swiftly identifying compliance issues within brand assets.

I initially joined as a freelance UX researcher and product designer, embarking on a transformative two-year journey with Highlyte. Over time, I assumed the role of Head of Product Design and Product Owner, overseeing the hiring, development, and management of the platform and its global team (spread across the US, Africa, UK, and Canada).

Our solution combined their deep cannabis compliance knowledge with AI technology, resulting in a platform capable of quickly identifying compliance issues across image, text, and video content.

Beyond the product itself, I directed the brand identity and marketing initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to create a cohesive brand presence. Mapping the customer journey led to a marketing campaign offering a free Instagram compliance report, which analyzed accounts and provided personalized feedback, driving effective onboarding.

Users could upload content to the platform and receive instant, comprehensive compliance reports, highlighting issues, pinpointing their locations, and specifying affected states and platforms. This capability was underpinned by a dedicated Highlyte team that meticulously trained the AI to recognize and address compliance concerns in line with existing laws.

After scanning the content, the Highlyte AI accurately identified compliance issues, pinpointing their exact location and specifying the affected states and platforms. This machine learning process was undertaken by a dedicated team at Highlyte, which meticulously trained the AI model to recognize and address compliance concerns in alignment with existing laws.
